Legal
Last updated: 2 November 2026
These terms cover your use of ChristmasGuide — the countdown, Secret Santa generator, Santa Tracker, Card Maker, and blog. By using the site, you agree to them. They are written to be read, not skimmed past.
1. The service
ChristmasGuide provides free, browser-based tools and seasonal guides. There are no accounts and no fees. The site may be updated, and tools may be changed or retired, at any time — seasonal tools are, by nature, refreshed each year.
2. Fair and lawful use
Use the tools for their intended, lawful purposes: planning celebrations, drawing names fairly, making cards for people you know, and enjoying the season. Do not use the site to mislead, harass, impersonate, or distribute unlawful material, and do not attempt to disrupt the site or its hosting.
3. Your content
Names, messages and photos you enter are yours, and they stay on your device — the site does not store them. You are responsible for having the right to use any photo you add to a card, and for the messages you choose to send. Downloaded cards are yours to share for personal, non-commercial use.
4. The Santa Tracker is a simulation
The Santa Tracker is a playful, fictional animation. It does not track any real person, vehicle, or location. The route, timings and gift counts are imagined, and nothing on the tracker page should be presented as a real-time fact.
5. Blog content
Blog posts are general seasonal information and opinion — gift ideas, film suggestions, and date guides. They are not professional, financial, medical, or legal advice, and streaming or shopping availability mentioned in posts can change. Dates are checked at publication and posts are marked with their update date.
6. No warranties
The site and its tools are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. While the tools are tested, no guarantee is made that they will work perfectly in every browser, or that a countdown, draw, or download will be error-free in every case. If a tool misbehaves, refreshing the page resolves most issues.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ChristmasGuide is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site — including, for example, a missed message, a mis-timed draw, or reliance on a date in a blog post without checking it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
8. Changes and questions
These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always the one posted here, with its update date above. Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact Us page. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
