ChristmasGuide is a small collection of free, browser-based helpers for the holiday season: a live countdown, a Secret Santa generator, a playful Santa Tracker, and a Christmas card maker — plus a blog of practical Christmas guides.
Why this site exists
December is full of small jobs that should be easy and somehow never are: working out how many days are left, drawing names fairly without spoiling the surprise, writing a card that sounds like you, and keeping children entertained while dinner cooks. Each tool on this site does exactly one of those jobs, with no sign-up, no account, and no waiting.
How the tools work
Everything runs in your browser. Names you type into the Secret Santa generator, photos you add to a card, and messages you write are processed on your own device and never uploaded anywhere. That is also why the site works the same for visitors all over the world — the countdown follows your device’s timezone, and the Santa Tracker map is drawn into the page itself, with no external map service to fail.
The Santa Tracker deserves one honest sentence: it is a playful simulation. It does not track Santa’s real location. The route, timings and gift counts are imagined, and the page says so wherever the tracker appears.
What we publish
The blog covers the questions people actually ask at Christmas: when Christmas falls, how many days are left, what to watch, what to write, what to give, and what to print for the kids. Dates are checked against the calendar; film and gift suggestions are opinions, clearly presented as such; and every post links back to the tool that helps you act on it.
The look of the site
Deep pine green, champagne gold and ruby red — the colours of a decorated tree in a warm room. The site is designed to feel like a finished, cared-for place: a proper header and footer, real legal pages, and guides and tools mixed together on the home page, in the order you need them through the season.
