Free Christmas Coloring Pages for Kids: Trees, Snowmen and Stockings to Print
Colouring is the quiet hero of December: it keeps small hands busy while dinner cooks, it costs almost nothing, and the finished pages become wrapping paper, window decorations and fridge art. Below are three free Christmas colouring designs from this site — download each one and print it at home.
Christmas Tree
Baubles, a star, and plenty of branches to fill with colour.
Snowman
A friendly snowman with a hat, carrot nose and stick arms.
Christmas Stocking
A stocking with a cuff, a star and dots — perfect for glitter pens.
Downloads are black-and-white SVG files that print crisply at any size. Open, print, colour.
Five ways to use the finished pages
- Window gallery: tape finished pages to a window facing the street — neighbours love them.
- Gift tags: colour a small section, cut it out, and tape it to a present as a handmade tag.
- Placemats: laminate or slip a finished page under a clear plate for Christmas dinner.
- Card fronts: fold a coloured page in half and write a message inside for a grandparent.
- Countdown chain: colour one small section each day from 1 December until the page is finished on Christmas Eve.
A note on printing
Print on ordinary A4 or Letter paper — the outlines are bold enough for crayons, and thick enough for felt tips without bleeding through too fast. For watercolours, use slightly heavier paper if you have it. Younger children do best with chunky crayons and the tree design; older children enjoy the stocking’s smaller details.
